On 1/24, we had our first meeting. It was nice to get together to introduce ourselves, share some pizza, make a list of our hopes & ideas, and to put some events on our calender for next month. I had personally hoped that the Parish Center was going to be flooding with people. But first of all, I procrastinated putting our event in the bulletin and secondly, it was literally a blizzard outside. Despite that, we had a decent turnout with 5 families.
Out of the meeting, this blog developed. It is my hope that we will keep this updated, so that anyone new to our group can come and learn what we are about and feel welcome to join us. I'm going to bet that our meeting a year from now is going to be filling up our parish center with tons of people, loads of laughter, and great fellowship.

It was a great meeting. We had a bunch of fun getting together and learning about each other and sharing ideas. The sense of community spirit was strong within the group and I am excited for the journey we are on and meeting new faces and friends.
