Upcoming Chili Cookoff

This Friday, our parish hosts one of it's favorite events, the Chili Cook Off.  I can already tell that it is going to be a lot of fun and well attended.  Of course, I intend to win. :)

Our Young Families group is going to meet an hour prior to the event to Tailgate.  We'll have a few tables together where we can sit and hang out.  Bring an appetizer to share.  We hope to see you there!

    Tailgate sounds fun... but outside? The high is 16. We may have to skip that with the baby and all but you can expect us for the inside portion! Will be bringing chili, not terribly imaginative, so I'm probably not a contender. I look forward to trying everyone's creations!
    Anyone know if a crock pot is more appropriate than a regular pot?

      We'll be tailgating indoors! :) And I think a crockpot will be best, although this is my first cook off!

    Oh I am looking forward to this... Better bring the heat! Can everyone say tailgate. Bringing cornbread for the chili, but also a bean dip and chips for the tailgate. Foooood!!! Let's eat.
